This policy explains what information Tablton collects, how we use it and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Restaurant owners: your email address, your password in protected form, and details you add about your store, such as its name, address, phone number, menu and photos.
- Sign in with Google or Apple: your email address and an account identifier from that provider.
- Staff: the names owners enter, and a protected version of each staff PIN.
- Guests: the orders, notes and service requests they send. Guests don't need an account.
- Technical information: IP addresses, used to protect the service from abuse.
How we use it
We use this information to run Tablton, deliver orders to restaurants, keep accounts secure, prevent abuse and send service emails, such as password resets. We don't sell personal information.
Cookies
We use a cookie to keep you signed in, and a short-lived cookie to protect Google and Apple sign in. We don't use advertising cookies.
Services we use
We share information with providers only as needed to run Tablton:
- Cloud hosting and Cloudflare, which run and protect the service
- Resend, which sends our emails
- Google and Apple, if you choose to sign in with them
- Google and OpenStreetMap, when you import a restaurant from a link
- Anthropic, which processes public website text to build your menu during import
Public information
Once you launch your website, your store details and menu are public. Don't add anything you don't want guests to see.
Keeping your information
We keep your information while your account is active. Backups are kept for up to 14 days, so deleted information can remain in them until they expire. Email us to delete your account.
Your choices
You can view and update your store information in your dashboard. You can also ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights under local law.
Guests
Restaurants control the orders placed with them. If you're a guest with a question about your order, please contact the restaurant.
Changes
We'll update this page when this policy changes.
